A minor is designed to compliment the major. Most majors, with the exception of business and education, require a minor or a second major. A minor typically consists of eighteen hours, all from the same discipline. Unless specifically noted in the catalog, a minor is very flexible in its composition and should be determined after a conversation with the student about their career objectives. Some minors, like business, have a set list of requirements and can be found in the catalog.
