Northeastern State University is proud to partner with CASHNet, a leading payment processing company in higher education, to give our students, parents, and other authorized users the ability to securely make payments over the web.
Electronic payments may be made by selecting the “Make a Payment” link through goNSU. Specifically:
- Go to NSU’s home page
- Click on goNSU in the upper right corner of the webpage
- Login using your NSU username and password
- Click on the "Make a Payment" link listed in the Quick Links section on the right column or click on the "Make a Payment" icon located on the goNSU Home, Students, or Employees pages
Several payment options are available through the "Make a Payment" online service. Students may opt to authorize payment using a Web Check (ACH) transaction. Those students who have an active OneAccount through HigherOne can make a direct payment from that account. Both of these options are free to use. An additional, related feature gives users the opportunity to store their ACH information, so it will be available for use easily during future transaction.
Credit Cards
Credit card payments may also be made securely and easily through the "Make a Payment" online service. Credit card payments on account will only be accepted through this online method. Credit cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Students or others who wish to make a credit card payment while on campus may access the site through computers at the Cashier locations, with assistance from Business Affairs staff if needed. Persons making credit card payments will be assessed a 2.75% convenience fee.
Other Authorized Users
In addition to the various payment methods available through the "Make a Payment" online service, NSU students have the ability to establish parents or others as Authorized Users to make payments, review payment history, and view student account balances. This feature is optional and completely controlled by the student. Those who choose to give others access will both set up those users and establish a PIN for their use. This access can be just as easily revoked by the student if desired. View instructions on how to set up a Guest/Parent as an authorized user.
Cash and Checks
NSU continues to accept paper checks and cash as payment tender. Checks received will be converted to electronic format when processed.
Checks may be mailed to:
