Should you choose an Easy Refund to the OneAccount you will be opening a free FDIC Insured checking account offered by Higher One. This account can be used to make purchases wherever Debit MasterCard is accepted. With the OneAccount you get:

Easily send money to your student
One of the reasons the OneAccount is so flexible is the ability to send money to your account electronically—where it will be directly deposited into their OneAccount. Sending money is easy and requires no special trip to your bank. Simply visit the "Family and Friends" section of the NSU GreenCard website.

Zero Liability!
Thanks to the MasterCard Zero Liability Protection policy, there are no worries about a lost or stolen card. Zero Liability means that you won’t be held responsible in the event of unauthorized use. Simply notify Higher One immediately if the card is lost, or suspicious activity is suspected.

Avoid the fees, use the card for free
Using your Green Card for free is easy. Simply choose “credit” instead of “debit” the next time you’re at the checkout counter, swipe your card, and sign the receipt. Signing the receipt means you won’t be charged a PIN-based transaction fee for using the Green Card and that your purchase is covered by MasterCard’s Zero Liability Protection policy (PIN based transactions are not).
