To establish your RiverHawk profile, Register Online with Career Services.

  • Student Registration:  Free.
  • Alumni Registration:  Free.
  • Faculty Registration:  Free and highly recommended.
     

Prior to graduation, all degree candidates are encouraged to establish an online profile with Career Services. Students seeking internships should register during their sophomore year. Students and alumni preparing for or seeking employment may register any time.

  • Resumes may be uploaded and maintained on your RiverHawk account for employers to view. Optomal Resume has a variety of tools to help you create, present, manage and share your professional credentials.  Optimal Resume is available to everyone.
  • You may also upload and maintain reference letters, copies of state test scores, transcripts, certifications, and professional licenses.

  • Professional Student Business Cards
  • Receive job alerts
  • Receive career coaching/take career assessments
  • Manage and post online multiple resumes, cover letters and other employment related documents
  • Opt to allow employers to view your resume
  • Search and apply for job opportunities online 24/7
  • Maintain an online personal calendar
  • View and RSVP for career events
  • Schedule or request to interview with companies and/or organizations conducting on campus interviews
  • Individual resume assistance by appointment
  • Individual mock interviews by appointment
  • Tour corporate facilities
  • Access Treasury Enforcement Agent (TEA) Law Enforcement Exam Study Guide; checkout upon availability
  • When pertinent to job search/graduate school application, access to the Career Office:

Campus-wide training seminars each fall and spring semester include Building a Professional Resume and Enhancing Interview Skills.

It is extremely important for you to maintain a current address, phone, and e-mail address in your online profile in order to receive notices of employment opportunities and communication from prospective employers. It is recommended you provide a permanent address and phone. You may edit your profile information by logging into your RiverHawk Account.

Career Services, in partnership with NSU faculty members, empowers students and alumni to be self-sufficient in utilizing and marketing their education, skills and experiences to achieve life-long career success.  Faculty, please register and access the Riverhawk Recruitment System to view job postings, receive job alerts, and view campus interview schedules and career events.  You can also access employers who have established a partnership with NSU.

The following services are available to Alumni:
