The Community
Ross Hall is a community that serves as home to college students at all levels of education from freshman to Graduate student. Each floor is divided into four communities with 12 people sharing a common bathroom. Each community also has a common area lounge where community members and their friends like to hang out, play video games, and on occasion, study together.
The first, third and fourth floors of Ross Hall comprise the service learning community. The second floor serves as home to teh Academic Excellence Community. This community is comprised of RISE Scholars, PLC, Honors, and any freshman with a 27 ACT or 3.5 Highschool GPA as well as upperclassmen with a 3.25 NSU GPA. The faith-based community is on half of the fifth floor. This group is lead by CCF students, but is open to anyone interested in faith-based living. Ross Hall staff provides students with programs that allow students to have fun while helping someone in need. We also advertise community service opportunities in a special place in our building for those who are interested and adopt different non-profit organizations each year to provide students with the opportunity to engage in community service as well as explore their own community service interests.
