All international students applying for Study Abroad at Northeastern State University will be considered non-degree seeking/guest students and must submit the following:
APPLICATION: indicate "special or guest" under the student type
RECOMMENDATION: Individuals planning to attend NSU as a non-degree or guest student will need to provide a certification from an adviser or administrator stating that their English language skills are at a sufficient level to adaquately follow the academic coursework and that they can truly benefit from this study abroad experience.
APPLICATION FEE: All applicants to NSU must pay a non-refundable $25 application fee. Checks and money orders should be made out to Northeastern State University and mailed to the Office of International Programs. Credit card payments can be made over the phone at 918-444-2050.
Students who plan to attend NSU for only 1 semester (4 months) or 1 academic year (9 months) as a non-degree seeking student do not need to provide a qualifying TOEFL or IELTS score. The students will be enrolled at their discretion in coursework for credit and receive an official academic transcript and a certificate of participation at the end of their studiest at NSU.
NOTE: NSU non-degree seeking students will be subject to a credit hour maximum.
