Any student, faculty, or staff member of Northeastern State University may participate in the Big Event. Sign-ups may be completed as an individual or with a group, but it is important that all commitments to The Big Event are fulfilled. All community service positions will be assigned by the Big Event Committee prior to the day of service.

The Big Event requires:
- Primary contact/Jobsite leader
- One primary contact/jobsite leader for every nine group participants
- Participant list
broken into groups of 10
The primary contact serves as an information leader to
the group, organization or athletic team. This person may also serve as a
jobsite leader. The primary contact is required to attend one of The Big Event
The Volunteer Registration Form for The BIG Event 2015 will go live on March 1, 2015.
The Big Event Mandatory meeting will provide detailed information on roles and responsibilities during The Big Event. This meeting will be held the week prior to The Big Event and will be announced via email to primary contacts.
