National ACT

The Office of Admissions and Records at Northeastern State University administers the ACT Assessment on all national test dates. In the U.S., the ACT is administered on five national test dates in October, December, February, April, and June.

If you wish to take the national ACT, you should register as soon as possible. Late registration and walk-ins are charged a higher fee. For more information about the ACT, or to register online, visit the ACT Home Page.

Residual ACT

Residual ACT tests are also given by the Office of Enrollment Management. The scores from these test are acceptable only at NSU. They cannot be transferred to any other institution. ACT requires you to wait 60 days before taking the test again, and the residual scores are not valid for NCAA. The cost for NSU's residual ACT is $40.

To register for NSU's residual ACT, you must complete a registration form (pdf), and mail it, along with a check for $40 payable to NSU, to the address on the application. Space is limited. You may want to verify availability on a specific date by calling Testing Services at 918-458-2138. Once your application is received and payment has been made to the Office of Business Affairs, you will receive a confirmation card with your assigned test date and time.
