What is your favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is the Student Engagement office in the basement of the University Center. It is a perfect place to hang out between classes, work on homework or upcoming projects, and learn about all the awesome events going on campus. I spent a lot of time there with friends and took tons of power naps on the couches before class.

Where is your favorite place to eat in Tahlequah?
I love to get some sweet treats from Morgan's Bakery in downtown. Their Tiger Cookies are the best things EVER! But I especially love when The Dogfather food truck is set up downtown. The cream cheese bacon hotdogs are THE BEST.

What is your favorite thing to do in Tahlequah?
My favorite thing to do in Tahlequah is to attend any of the numerous events on campus, especially tailgates before NSU football games. I love to cheer on our teams and deck out in school spirit! I also love to spend time reading at The Drip downtown, having movie nights with my friends, and going to Lake Tenkiller during the summer.

How did you know the college you chose was the right fit?
Being from the Tahlequah area, Northeastern State was always an option after high school. Although I was still close to home, I felt excited about the new opportunities that NSU had to offer. I instantly fell in love with the campus atmosphere, got involved in numerous organizations, and met new people that became lifelong friends. The faculty and staff were very helpful and encouraging, motivating me to be successful and make my mark on NSU. GO HAWKS!
