Introductory Leadership Certificate

The Introductory Leadership Certificate will be offered again in fall 2017. Be on the lookout for emails about registration at the beginning of the semester!

The office of Leadership will premier a secondary leadership certificate available for those who completed the introductory certificate, and a one-off certificate available to all students in collaboration with another department. Names, dates, etc., TBA.

Why get involved in Leadership?

Certificate Requirements

  • Attend and participate in five 90-minute leadership workshops
    • Values and Identity
    • Leadership and Communication Styles
    • Ethics and Integrity
    • Principled Dissent
    • Collaboration for Change
  • Participate in one Leadership Experience during the semester. Options include:
    • Attend two career center workshops and submit a reflection
    • Attend a Safe Zone training and submit a reflection
    • Attend a leadership conference and submit a reflection (ie, Greek Leaders Retreat, Big Event Conference, etc.)
    • Other experiences considered on an individual basis
  • Complete an evaluation prior to the first and after the last workshop to help assess program effectiveness
