Kristi has been at NSU since June 2016. She received her Bachelor's degree in Women's and Gender Studies and Spanish from The University of Tulsa, and has been longing to return to Northeast Oklahoma since graduation. In between undergraduate and her arrival at NSU, Kristi traveled as a sorority leadership consultant and then worked in Chicago as a graduate admissions counselor.
As the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life & Leadership, Kristi advises the Interfraternity and Panhellenic councils, Order of Omega, and oversees the Fraternity/Sorority Life program. She is also collaborating to coordinate and implement a leadership development program on the Tahlequah campus. Kristi's favorite parts of student engagement are learning more about students' plans for the future and their passions while helping them grow in their social intelligence and leadership potential. She's passionate about students learning responsibility and helping them accomplish their goals.
In her free time, Kristi likes to read and study sociological phenomena, buy candles for her house, and spend time exploring Tulsa's restaurant scene.
