Any student, faculty, or staff member of Northeastern State University may participate in the Big Event. Sign-ups may be completed as an individual with the option of naming their Organization or Club, as well as the people who they would like to work with. If your group is signing up, it’s important that you supply someone to be a primary contact. The primary contact serves as an information leader to the group, organization or athletic team. This person may also serve as a jobsite leader. The primary contact is required to attend one of The Big Event mandatory meetings.
The Big Event Mandatory meeting will provide detailed information on roles and responsibilities during The Big Event. This meeting will be held the week prior to The Big Event and will be announced via email to primary contacts.
For The Big Event to be a success, it is important that all commitments to The Big Event are fulfilled. All community service positions will be assigned by the Big Event Committee prior to the day of service.
