TRIO Cultural, Educational Events, Workshops and Seminars

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) provides opportunities for cultural enrichment for its participants.  These would take place through our cultural field trips that are taken monthly throughout the Fall and Spring semester.  Currently, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, TRIO SSS' field trips are held virtually online through the SSS organizations page on blackboard.  We hope to get back to our normal routine of taking trips in Fall of 2021.  

Student Support Services (SSS) provides opportunities for participants of the program to attend workshops. The SSS staff has offered workshops in the following areas:

• Test taking skills
• Career exploration
• Career choices
• Graduate School preparation
• Writing skills
• Note-taking techniques
• Interview techniques
• Financial literacy
• and much more
