I am the Transfer Student Representative for Northeastern State University. I graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I am so thrilled to help with any transfer students' questions.
For me, going to Northeastern State University has been a dream. In high school I didn't know where I wanted to go or what the next stage in life was going to be. That was until I took a tour of NSU and realized that this is where I wanted to spend the next four years of my life. I joined NASA and AIBL which took up the majority of my time, met great people and learned to collaborate to make a big change, and also created an organization with other students named the NSU Roadrunners. As the years went on in college, I grew as an individual and now I want to share all of my knowledge and experience with future transfer students. I hope to make an impact on student lives to fulfill their dreams. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me. I hope you have a great time at NSU! Go RiverHawks!
About Christian
HOMETOWN:
Owasso, Oklahoma
EDUCATION:
Bachelors of Business Administration: Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship
FAVORITE ASPECT OF NSU:
I love the sense of community that you get when you attend Northeastern State University.
I came to NSU not knowing anyone, and from the start I met amazing people and amazing
leaders to help shape my character. Now that I am an alumni of NSU, I realize that
those connections will carry on past college and give you opportunities for your career.
WHY I LOVE MY JOB:
I love my job because I am able to make an impact on students' futures, help guide
them to college and overcome any obstacles that may be in their way. I love that I
am making a difference in people's lives.
FAVORITE SPOT ON CAMPUS:
My favorite spot on campus is hands down the Business and Technology building because
this is where I spent four years of my life making memories and learning many life
lessons. Also, the student lounge is a great spot to do homework or study with friends
and meet new ones.
FAVORITE NSU SPORT:
Men's basketball because the atmosphere at an NSU basketball game is so electric and
lively from the loud fans to the band playing. It makes you proud to be an NSU student
sitting in the student section cheering for your classmates.
ADVICE TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:
Give it 100% because right now you are shaping your future, either you can make it
easy on yourself or hard on yourself in the future. The choice is yours right now.
Make the difference in your life and challenge yourself by joining a student organization,
trying to get all A's, and talking to new people. All you need to do is challenge
yourself.
