Hello! I am the University Representative for Northeastern State University covering the Southeast Oklahoma and North Texas areas. In 2024, I graduated from NSU with a Bachelor's degree in Science in the College of Education.
I am proud to call NSU my home. During my time on campus, I was fortunate to be involved in two amazing Greek life organizations, Delta Zeta and Phi Lambda Chi, where I not only grew as a leader but I also met some of my closest friends, and together, we made the most of our time at NSU.
At NSU there are so many different ways to get involved both on and off campus! My favorite thing about NSU is the support system that it cultivates. The faculty and staff that are always there to cheer you on is something you won’t find anywhere else!
If you have any questions about Northeastern State University, or need any help please feel free to reach out to me! Go Hawks!
ABOUT HALLE
Hometown:
Canadian, OK
Education:
Bachelor’s of Science, Northeastern State University
Favorite Aspect of NSU:
My favorite aspect of NSU is the faculty involvement you won’t receive anywhere else. Having professors who take the time to know you and will push for you to succeed has impacted my education more than anything. At NSU, you have faculty here that supports and cheers you on every single day and those relationships grow from the coin walk on your first day until you graduate!
Favorite Spot on Campus:
My favorite spot on campus is Beta Field, it's located just South of the Science building and it is the best spot for two stepping and studying on a nice day! NAB hosts many events on Beta Field and they are always a blast to go to!
Why I love my Job:
I love my job because I am a people person. I love having the opportunity to get to know incoming students and helping them find their place at NSU!
Advice to prospective students:
My advice to prospective students is to take the time to be involved. The transition is scary for everyone, but the opportunity to meet new people and try new things is right in front of you! You’ll never know what you’re missing if you don’t try it once.
