I am the university representative covering northwest and central Oklahoma. In 2021, I graduated from Northeastern State University magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in multimedia. I love getting to know people, and I am beyond excited to share NSU with others.

Personally, NSU represents a second family. I have been able to establish deep, and meaningful, relationships with people within the NSU community. Those within the NSU community strive to be people who are there for each other and they genuinely care about those around them. NSU is just the place for those looking for more than just an education, it is an experience and a home like no other.

At NSU, there are so many opportunities to grow as an individual and as a leader. One of my favorite aspects about NSU is the opportunity to get involved. Organizations like Rookie Bridge Camp, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Northeastern Student Government Association and the RiverHawk Ambassadors are just a few of the many organizations that promote NSU’s core values as well as serve as fantastic groups that help enrich the college experience of NSU students. One of NSU’s core values is diversity, and it is evident that NSU actively seeks to promote diversity within its institutions through its student organizations.

NSU is home to some of the best, and most genuine, people, and there are so many opportunities for success for you here. You get to shape your own college experience, so it is important that you remember to utilize the resources available to you. Whether that be through organizations, faculty members or other opportunities. At NSU, you will have the opportunity to be the change you want to see in the world, and you will also have the opportunity to gather here and go far.

If you have any questions about Northeastern State University, or need help with anything, please feel free to reach out to me. I can't wait to get to know you! Go Hawks!

FAVORITE ASPECT OF NSU:
My favorite aspect of NSU is definitely a combination of both the people and the atmosphere. Everyone at NSU, whether they are students, faculty or staff members, is so genuine and kind. It feels like a second home to me.

WHY I LOVE MY JOB:
I love being able to meet and interact with new people while also representing something that means as much to me as NSU does. Having the opportunity to learn more about other people and share the culture and history behind NSU is something that I truly enjoy getting to do as a job.

FAVORITE SPOT ON CAMPUS:
My favorite spot on campus is River’s Edge. I absolutely love interacting with people, and I also love coffee, so River’s Edge is the perfect place for me. There’s so many opportunities to learn more about people and have intentional conversations with, which is why it’s my favorite spot on campus.

FAVORITE NSU SPORT:
My favorite NSU Sport would have to be basketball. Basketball has always been my favorite sport, and I have enjoyed watching both the men’s and women’s basketball games at NSU.

ADVICE TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:
Advice that I would give to prospective students would be to be open to new experiences and perspectives! People come from all walks of life, and have different ideas or perspectives. They can introduce you to new experiences, or new places, that you may not have thought of before. There are always opportunities to learn and grow, so my advice would be to capitalize on those opportunities!
