General Education
General Education courses are required of all students regardless of the area in which they plan to major. General Education requirements can be viewed through NSU's online catalog.
Degrees and Majors
Northeastern State University offers a wide variety of degrees and majors. Students
interested in a particular degree program are encouraged to contact a Faculty Mentor
or Academic Advisor in the associated discipline.

Minors
A minor is designed to complement the major. Most majors, with the exception of Art,
Business (BBA), Education, and Social Work require a minor or a second major. A minor
typically consists of eighteen approved hours; students should refer to the course
catalog or contact his/her Academic Advisor to review minor requirements.
