Join us for upcoming events!

The Center for Tribal Studies has lots of activities throughout the year. Here are a few of our events scheduled for the 2025-2026 academic year:

Gatheration

August 25 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Come to our annual welcome event in the University Center Ballroom. Students can meet the leaders of our Native American student organizations, get to know our staff, play games, have snacks, and maybe win one of the awesome door prizes donated by supportive businesses and individuals in our community. 

National Day of Remembrance

September 30, all day

Drop in and make a beaded bracelet at the Center for Tribal Studies and learn about the history of Indian boarding schools and the impact they had and continue to have on Indigenous people.

Indigenous Peoples' Day

October 13

Participate in activities as we celebrate our heritage and culture during Indigenous Peoples' Day.

American Indian Heritage Month

During the month of November we will host lots of activities celebrating American Indian heritage. Everyone is welcome to join us during this month and throughout the year as we work to help increase awareness of the many contributions Native peoples have made as well as the challenges and issues Tribal citizens currently face.
