Food Basket Frenzy
Food Basket Frenzy is an annual drive that serves to provide members of the NSU family in need with a Thanksgiving dinner. In the past, Food Basket Frenzy has helped several local families including students, faculty/staff, and community members. This year, we have set a goal to assist forty families! We will need your help to achieve our goal and to continue our efforts in making this fall season the most memorable one yet.
How Can I Help?
DONATIONS. Help us fill our baskets by donating Thanksgiving food! Our food baskets contain all the traditional Thanksgiving items and you can help us by donating the following items:
- Boxed stuffing
- Instant mashed potatoes
- Gravy mix
- Cornbread mix
- Canned Biscuits / Croissants
- Jello/pudding mix
- Cranberry sauce
- If possible, we would greatly appreciate donated hams / turkeys (4-10 lbs.)
*Donations can be dropped off in the Student Engagement office located in the UC basement.
SPONSOR A BASKET. Monetary donations are also a great way help. These donations will go towards purchasing items we do not receive during the drive. With a $20 donation, you will able to sponsor an entire basket to help a family in need! (Checks can be made payable to the NSU Foundation, and electronic donations can be submitted at nsugiving.com/donate. Please put Rowdy's Resource Room-Food Baskets on the memo line/comments section.)
