Scholarships

NSU is committed to assisting students in applying and earning scholarships. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a continuing/returning student, NSU has a wide variety of scholarship options for students to choose from.

Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Transfer Students

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

Study Abroad

IMPORTANT: If the student has met his/her graduation requirements and/or the host courses the student is attempting to take abroad are not required for his/her NSU degree plan, then the student will not be eligible for Federal Student Aid.

  • Complete FAFSA and additional paperwork needed in Student Financial Services at least three months prior to planned departure.
  • Meet with and supply Student Financial Services with detailed costs of planned study abroad program two months prior to planned departure.
  • Complete the Acknowledgment of Student Responsibilities form and return it to Student Financial Services.
  • Meet with Academic Advisor and/or Department Chair(s) to complete the Study Abroad Consortium Agreement.
  • Complete Study Abroad Consortium Agreement and submit to Student Financial Services at least two months prior to planned departure.
  • Complete Arrival/Enrollment Verification form within 5 days of arrival at host institution and submit document via fax, email or dropbox to NSU Student Financial Services.
  • After completion of study abroad program, student must supply Northeastern State University with an official record/transcript from host institution.
