Vehicle Rates and Charges

Motor Pool Rates/Charges

Rate Information

Charges for the trip are based on the approved current Rate Structures for the type of vehicle being used. Lease charges are for the actual mileage driven or for the actual time the vehicle is checked out, whichever is greater.

Other Charges

Vehicles, when available, left in public transportation parking lots (ie: airports etc.) are subject to a daily fee of $20 for each day the vehicle is parked awaiting return of the lessee in addition to the mileage fees and must be approved in advance by the Motor Pool Manager.

Excess charges over and above Motor Pool rates for leased vehicles from outside rental agencies (like Enterprise) or other providers are the responsibility of the department using the vehicle.

  • Please make reservations as far in advance as possible.
  • Cancellations received at least 24 hours prior to scheduled departure time are subject to a cancellation fee of the minimum daily rate. Cancellations received within 24 hours of departure or no-shows are subject to the first day's rental rate.
  • Lease charges are invoiced for the actual mileage driven or for the actual time the vehicle is checked out, whichever is greater.
  • Mileage rates will adjust periodically to match State mileage rates or fuel price adjustments.
  • Cleaning charges are added to the invoice when returned vehicle condition requires beyond-normal preparation for leasing.
