Cabinet was called to order by President Turner at 9:05 a.m.
Members present: Dr. Steve Turner, Dr. Bill Rugg, Mr. Tim Foutch, Mr. Ben Hardcastle, Dr. Laura Boren, and Mr. David Koehn
Members not present: None

Enrollment Update

Dr. Laura Boren reported that outreach efforts continue by Enrollment Management staff contact current student not yet enrolled. Mr. Foutch reported that housing application numbers are as expected at this point. Student move-in is scheduled for August 10th-11th with Parent Program activities scheduled for August 10th.

D23 Booklet

President Turner reported that the D23 document was delivered to the Regents during their visit in late July. Very positive comments were reported. The booklet will be made available on-line and a limited number of copies will be available at the opening meeting.

Library Hours Proposal

Dr. Rugg presented a proposal from the Library to modify hours of operation during the last two weeks of the semester to accommodate student needs during that time period. NSGA will be involved in the decision to proceed. More information will follow as discussions are finalized.

Announcements

President Turner reported a very positive RUSO Board meeting. Our RUSO guests had many words of appreciation for the hospitality and how beautiful the entire campus looked during their visit. Staff are to be commended for their diligence and efforts.
