Center for the Performing Arts | Tahlequah, Okla.
It is my pleasure and honor to be here, on this historic day, to represent the thousands of alumni who have spent time at Northeastern State University. Today, we are not just congregating together to install a new leader, but we are coming together as one community to reinforce the traditions of the past, to embrace the realities of the present and to focus on a vision for the future.
President Turner, as you embark on this journey, know you are not alone. You have a passionate, engaged, and dedicated community of alumni who are excited to be involved in the process of planning and carrying out your vision for our alma matter.
It is my honor on behalf of the NSU Alumni Association board of directors, and the entire Green and White Network we call our alumni community to present you and Mrs. Turner with an honorary life membership into the Northeastern State University Alumni Association, complete with all the rights and benefits that come with membership.
Congratulations and I look forward to a long, prosperous journey ahead.
