Information For Degree Applicants

Final Degree Audit

Final degree audits are completed after all final semester grades and other required academic records have been received and processed. All academic records must be received in the Office of the Registrar no later than two weeks following the close of the semester in order for you to remain on the list of students graduating that term. Transcripts from other schools must be sent directly to NSU.

Once all degree requirements have been met, your degree will be conferred and posted to your transcript. You can verify your degree has been conferred by viewing your advising transcript in goNSU. If a conferral date is listed, your degree has been conferred.

If all degree requirements have not been met, your degree will not be conferred. Contact your academic advisor for your next steps.

Diplomas

Diplomas are mailed approximately six weeks following the date of degree conferral. Diplomas will be mailed to the address provided on your Intent to Graduate Form. Any change of address for diplomas must be sent via email to registrar@nsuok.edu.

If you have not received your diploma 12 weeks after the end of the semester for which you completed your Intent to Graduate Form:

  • Check your online transcript for a degree conferral date.
  • If no date is listed, check your NSU student email for communication regarding your conferral.

If your have questions about your conferral please contact the Office of the Registrar at 918-444-2208 or registrar@nsuok.edu.
