ADA Training
Northeastern State University is committed to ensuring our digital content is accessible to all users. Accessibility isn't just about compliance - it's about making sure every student, employee and visitor can fully engage with our university's online presence.
To support this commitment, NSU is providing accessibility training for all faculty and staff through a new Blackboard course: NSU Digital Accessibility Basics.
This training is powered by Level Access, an industry leader in digital accessibility with over 25 years of experience helping organizations build inclusive digital experiences.
What you need to know:
All faculty and staff are required to complete two mandatory modules: Introduction to Digital Accessibility and Disability Etiquette. To successfully complete these modules, you must score 70% or higher on the assessments by March 13.
We are also providing eighteen additional modules to assist with your accessibility knowledge base. These modules cover topics ranging from document creation to social media accessibility. You are highly encouraged to explore these modules.
How to access the training:
Log in to Blackboard using your NSU credentials. The course will appear in your course list.
