Media Relations

Let us turn your news into a headline. Delivering emerging news information to the media on the activities of NSU faculty, staff, students and programs, our office builds mutually productive relationships between the NSU community and the media. We also encourage the media to cover our news and work with journalists to find the appropriate experts for their articles. Nervous about talking to the media? Our team will provide advice and support. We also distribute tip sheets to alert the media on which faculty members have expertise and in what areas. Through nurtured relationships with reporters, editors and producers, we strive to facilitate accurate reporting about all NSU the initiatives.

Our faculty is available to talk with the media on a number of events, topics and issues. To find a faculty expert, email Jennifer Zehnder at zehnder@nsuok.edu or call 918-444-2851. She serves as the initial point of contact.
