Letter from the Panhellenic President

Hello!

My name is Hayden Thomas, and I am this year's Panhellenic President! I am so excited that you are coming to NSU, but more importantly, that you are thinking about going through Recruitment. I know it looks scary and maybe a little silly because I also thought that too as an incoming freshman! But I regret not giving myself the chance to try. I didn’t go through Recruitment my freshman year because I thought it was a silly group of girls. But the more I saw them on campus, the more I realized that they are a group of women who hold themselves to a high standard. They lift each other up, they support one another, and most importantly, they are a steady home away from home. Our sororities have some of the highest GPA’s on campus and are involved in almost all of the clubs here at NSU. They are the leaders on campus. They uphold themselves to their chapters' values. But most importantly, they want to share their home with you and see you grow. If you are nervous about going through recruitment, that’s okay, you’re not alone! Know that me, Sadie and all of our Rho Gamma’s are here for you, and we know and understand all the emotions and feelings you have about recruitment. Give yourself the chance to try new things and go out of your comfort zone. There is a place for everyone in Greek Life!

Welcome home!

Hayden Thomas
