Scholarships

NSU is committed to assisting students in applying and earning scholarships. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a continuing/returning student, NSU has a wide variety of scholarship options for students to choose from.

Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Transfer Students

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

Introductory Leadership Certificate

Fall 2024 Introductory Leadership Certificate Overview (L.E.A.D.S.)

To receive the certificate, all requirements must be met: attend all four workshops, complete one leadership experience and corresponding reflection, and complete a pre- and post- evaluation.

Certificate requirements:

  • Attend and participate in four 60-minute leadership workshops, held on TBA
  1. Certificate overview & Intro to Individual Values 
  2. Consciousness of Self 
  3. Congruence 
  4. Commitment & Certificate Wrap-up & transition to Intermediate Certificate 
  • Participate in one Leadership Experience during the semester:
  1. Complete Career readiness Leadership Experience
  2. Attend a leadership conference and submit a reflection (ie, Greek Leaders Retreat, Big Event Conference, etc.)
  3. Other options may be considered on an individual basis will need approval by the coordinator 
  • Complete an evaluation prior to the first and after the last workshop to help assess program effectiveness.

Certificates will be awarded at a recognition ceremony in the Spring.

*Excused* absences will be resolved with an alternate assignment.
