New Student Move-In

Monday, August 11, 2025 @ the NSU Event Center (Community Room)

Move-In Schedule: 

Cobb Residents: 9:00am - 11:30am

Southwest Leoser Residents: 9:00am - 11:30am

North Leoser Residents: 12:30pm - 3:00pm

Wyly Residents: 12:30pm - 3:00pm

Seminary Suites Residents: 9:00am - 1:00pm

Courtside Apartments: By appointment only

 

Remember:

BRING A PHOTO ID

  • Label ALL individual items and boxes with your name and hall/room number. 
  • Bring your Photo ID! (we can't check you in without it)
  • Check your assignment before you arrive (housing portal login)
  • Have your license plate number available if you wish to pick up your parking pass during check-in. 
  • Immunization records can be submitted at check-in if you have not yet completed this prior. 

VEHICLE PREP

  • All items to be unloaded should be in one vehicle.
  • The driver will remain with the vehicle while volunteers unload the items. 
  • Once unloaded, the driver will drive to the parking area and return to the unloading area.
  • Volunteers will assist with taking boxes/items to the room as marked. 
  • All additional vehicles need not enter the unloading traffic lane. 

*Seminary Suites will not have an unloading lane. You may park in front of your assigned building. Volunteers are stationed at at the Club House. 

 

RBC Check-in Information

Attending RBC Camp on August 4th or August 7th?

You will check in at Event Center the morning of camp from 9:00am-10:30am. Please follow the same traffic maps for Aug 11th for your RBC camp check in.

Please note that parents/guests will not be allowed to stay behind or enter your room after you leave for camp.

Returning Students

Returning students may check-in starting on August 12th through August 17th between 10:00am and 5:00pm daily. 

All Check-ins will take place in the Housing Office

Please bring a photo ID to check in. 

 

 

Driving Instructions

All check-ins must begin at the Event Center. You will not be allowed into parking lot or traffic line around the residence halls for unloading without checking in first. 

An escort vehicle will be utilized once you have checked in and are ready to move into your residence hall. 

  • Enter campus via 82 bypass and Allen Rd
  • Turn Left onto Grand Ave.
  • Turn Right onto North St. 
  • Turn into the NSU Event Center Parking Lot. 
  • Follow parking attendant's instructions.
  • Once Parked, enter the NSU Event Center from the North side of the building (outside entrance).
  • Check-Ins will take place in the Community Room.
