Facility Operations

About Operations:

Operations consists of three departments: Maintenance, Grounds/Landscaping, and Custodial Services. 

  • Building Maintenance provides routine, scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance. This includes building furniture/components, fabrication/repair, lock/key control, campus/building signs, maintenance of electrical and water distribution systems, service contract compliance, small scale building alterations, renovations and minor construction. Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) provides heating and a/c maintenance, preventative maintenance, energy management, and automation controls.
  • Grounds/Landscaping provides landscape installations, maintenance and watering, pavement and hard surface maintenance, underground irrigation system installation, exterior litter control and recyclable collection transport, athletic field maintenance, grounds equipment maintenance, snow and ice removal, and furniture moving on campus.
  • Custodial Services provides building access, housekeeping, light bulb replacements, building trash collection, building recyclable collection, interior building furniture moving, special events setups, and building pest controls.
