Additional Parking Services Information
Every person operating a vehicle on the campus of NSU must obtain and display a current parking permit. These permits are to be displayed on the driver's side windshield, on the inside, lower left corner. These permits are good for up to one (1) year and expire on August 31.
To receive a parking permit, Students/Faculty/Staff are required to present their NSU ID cards.
Not obtaining a parking permit does not exempt you from the responsibility for traffic or parking violations. University Police can identify the owner by tracing the tag number thru the Department of Public Safety.
Permit holders are responsible for all charges made against their vehicle, regardless of the driver at the time of the offense.
Being unable to find a designated parking spot or parking incorrectly because someone else is improperly parked is not justification for improper parking.
