NSU is committed to assisting students in applying and earning scholarships. Whether you are an incoming freshman or a continuing/returning student, NSU has a wide variety of scholarship options for students to choose from.

Clubs and Organizations

From networking to leadership opportunities, NSU’s over 80 clubs and organizations allow our students to build lasting relationships while getting the full college experience.

Transfer Students

Whether you’re an incoming or current transfer student, NSU’s transfer advisors are available to assist you with transcript evaluation, information on degree programs and support services. NSU is where You Belong.

Graduate College

Whether transitioning to graduate school or returning to higher education, NSU’s graduate college is your next step. Choose from over 25 master's degrees and several certificate programs.

Educational Opportunity Center

The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) provides academic and financial information and services to qualified adults seeking post-secondary education. Additionally, EOC offers a helping hand for individuals applying for admission to programs offered by post-secondary institutions, Pell Grant and scholarships, and GED enrollment.

Services Provided

  • Information and tutoring on Adult Based Education (ABE) and General Education Development (GED) courses 
  • Academic advising and testing
  • Application and enrollment assistance to any career technology center, college, or university nation-wide
  • Assistance in completing Financial Aid (FAFSA) application
  • Personal and financial Coaching
  • Tutoring
  • Career exploration services
  • Workshops on FAFSA, budgeting, resume writing, career opportunities, and more

Eligibility:

  • Adults 19 and older or high school seniors not served by a Talent Search program 
  • First-generation college student (neither parent completed a bachelor’s degree)
  • Meet the federal low-income guidelines
  • Veterans or Veteran Spouse
  • Documented Disability
  • Reside in one of the below counties

Intake Process:

  • Submit Application 
  • Submit Service Plan (outlines your goals for school, financial aid, and other services)
  • Look for an email from the EOC regarding your enrollment status
