Student Engagement offers ways for students to get involved on campus and in the community. Northeastern State University recognizes more than 100 student organizations. Four sororities and seven fraternities comprise Fraternity/Sorority Life at NSU. From orientation teaching traditions in Rookie Bridge Camp (RBC) to one of the 100 recognized student organizations students can meet new people and make friends, learn valuable leadership and social skills, make a difference at NSU, gain skills transferable to the job market, and create college memories.
If students are not able to find an organization that reflects their interest, they also have the option to start a new organization on campus. Students are encouraged to get involved through organization fairs and open recruitment during the entire calendar year. All of the recognized student organizations are listed on the HawkLife website.
