The North Leoser Complex was built as a traditional style residence hall with two 3-story wings, Northwest Leoser and Northeast Leoser, in 1960, and an third 3-story wing, North Leoser, added in 1965. Named after Dr. Irwin D. Leoser, physician for the male and female Cherokee Seminaries and his wife, Susan Agnew Leoser, a Cherokee citizen who came to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears at the age of 8, the complex is now home to 365 female residents who reside within its nine floors.
