North Leoser Complex

North Leoser Complex

The North Leoser Complex was built as a traditional style residence hall with two 3-story wings, Northwest Leoser and Northeast Leoser, in 1960, and an third 3-story wing, North Leoser, added in 1965. Named after Dr. Irwin D. Leoser, physician for the male and female Cherokee Seminaries and his wife, Susan Agnew Leoser, a Cherokee citizen who came to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears at the age of 8, the complex is now home to 365 female residents who reside within its nine floors.

All rooms are designed as semi-private spaces (two roommates), each floor holds up to approximately 40 residents who share a common bathroom with 4 shower stalls, 2 vanities and 4 toilet stalls. All bathrooms were renovated in 2008. Several floors have a small lounge/study space in additional to the new Main Lounge on the first floor of the North wing that opened in Spring of 2016. 

  • Capacity of 365, female residents, 66% freshmen
  • Wi-fi access for NSU students
  • Laundry room, use free of charge to residents
  • Moveable furniture in the west and east wings
  • Each room includes two junior loft twin-XL beds, two chest of drawers, two desks, two chairs, two built-in closets or free-standing wardrobes
  • Vanity space including sink and mirror
  • Connections for Ethernet
  • Newly renovated lounge with large screen TV, wi-fi, study tables and a reading nook
  • Quick access to the Pizza Hut Express and convenience store
