Win Rowdy's Scholarships
Students who are fully vaccinated by Oct. 1, 2021 or have filed an exemption waiver
based on religious beliefs or health issues will be entered into a drawing to Win Rowdy’s Scholarships, which includes one of the following prizes:
5 – Full Tuition and Mandatory Fee Scholarships for the Fall 2021 Semester – Value not to exceed $4,268.70 per scholarship
5 – Housing/Meal Plan Scholarships for the Fall 2021 Semester – Value not to exceed $2,300 per scholarship
5 – NSU Barnes and Noble Scholarships – Value not to exceed $800 per scholarship

By entering the Northeastern State University’s “Win Rowdy’s Scholarships” Contest you agree to be bound by these Official Rules:
Eligibility
This contest is open to NSU students actively enrolled for fall 2021 who are fully vaccinated. Those not fully vaccinated at the beginning of the contest may enter at any time once they are fully vaccinated.
Individuals who cannot be vaccinated due to medical conditions or sincere religious objections may fill out the exemption form and also be entered to win scholarships. Students must upload a picture of the completed form and email it to immunizations@nsuok.edu following the same instructions for uploading vaccination proof. Uploaded forms will be verified.
Definitions
Fully Vaccinated: To be considered fully vaccinated, a student must receive two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, or receive a World Health Organization approved vaccine.
Students: Actively enrolled students for fall 2021, excluding concurrently enrolled high school students and full-time NSU employees enrolled in courses.
Contest dates
The contest begins Aug. 23, 2021 at 12 p.m. CST and ends Oct. 1, 2021, at 5 p.m. CST. Entries received after 5 p.m. Oct. 1, 2021 CST will not be considered for scholarships, regardless of whether the late receipt resulted from human, computer or transmission error. For individuals receiving the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, both vaccine doses must be administered by the 5 p.m. Oct. 1 deadline.
Entry guidelines
Entry Process: The contest is open to fully vaccinated, current NSU students actively enrolled for fall 2021.
Students fully vaccinated may upload a picture of their vaccine card and email it to immunizations@nsuok.edu to be entered into the scholarship drawing. Name, date of birth and vaccination record must be visible in photo.
Students who have not been vaccinated can make vaccine appointments at https://vaccinate.oklahoma.gov/en-US/
Students who have not been vaccinated but become fully vaccinated can upload a picture of their vaccination card and email it to immunizations@nsuok.edu. Name, date of birth and vaccination record must be visible in photo.
Scholarship drawings
Winning names will be drawn by Student Health Services staff on Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. The winning students will be contacted by Students Affairs once eligibility has been verified.

Notification of winners
Winners will be contacted by Student Affairs once eligibility has been verified. Their name and scholarship will be announced publicly on NSU social media channels. If a winner does not respond to notification of the win within 14 days, the winner will be disqualified and a new winner will be chosen, based on the established criteria. Any scholarship awarded is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and may be subject to reduction based upon applicable scholarship or financial aid limits.

Use of photograph of contest winner(s)
By entering this contest, the student hereby grants to Northeastern State University and its affiliates* the right to take their picture and to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, distribute, exploit, modify, adapt, and create derivative works of photographs, videotaped images or video/audio recordings of me (“Materials”) by incorporating them into publications, catalogues, brochures, books, magazines, photo exhibits, motion picture films, videos, electronic media, web sites, and/or other media, or commercial, informational, educational, advertising, or promotional materials or publications related thereto. Copies of completed vaccination cards or waivers will not be used in promotional materials. Northeastern State University reserves the right to modify or change the Win Rowdy’s Scholarships contest rules at any time. Contest is subject to all applicable United States federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Contest ownership
Northeastern State University and its affiliates are the sole owners and operators of the Win Rowdy’s Scholarships contest. Official rules, terms and eligibility requirements, scholarship information and selection are administered by the University. By participating, entrants release Facebook of any ownership. The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
*Affiliates include the University Relations, NSU Alumni Services, NSU Foundation, university departments, academic colleges or programs.
Waiver of liability
By hosting this contest, NSU in no way endorses or sponsors any manufacturer of vaccinations. By entering this contest, the student is choosing to voluntarily receive the vaccination(s) and assumes all liability therefore. NSU is not responsible for any injuries or illnesses occurring as a result of a student obtaining vaccinations and entering this contest.
