Student Financial Services

The Student Financial Services staff of Northeastern State University is committed to being highly knowledgeable of federal student aid policies and regulations to best serve the needs of our students. New employees begin their training by completing the Federal Student Aid (FSA) Coach training modules. Education of staff is continual by utilizing resources such as the daily National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) Newsletter and Federal Student Aid (FSA) Partner Connect weekly electronic subscription, in addition to attending annual federal and state conferences.

The Northeastern State University Office of Student Financial Services is dedicated to informing and educating students on options regarding federal student aid. Our primary mission is to help students achieve their educational goals through financial support and resources. While performing this duty employees shall not participate in revenue-sharing agreements, receive any gifts from a lender, guarantor, or loan servicer, enter into any contractual agreements providing financial benefit from any lender, direct borrowers to a particular lender, initiate offers of funds for private loans, or receive compensation from any advisory board. Staff members adhere to the NASFAA code of conduct.

Financial Aid Recipients

Student financial aid recipients should check their GreenMail account and goNSU student account regularly. Our office transmits important information and reminders to students via these accounts.

Students are expected to be responsible community members. The student conduct and development are outlined in our Student Conduct Code in the Student Handbook. Our goal is to promote a safe living and learning environment and to develop healthy and responsible decision-making. Any questions, policy violations, or other concerns may be addressed by contacting Student Affairs.
