Study Abroad at NSU

See the World. Earn NSU Credit. Build Your Global Future.

The Office of International Programs is committed to providing you with quality international academic opportunities through study abroad programs to ensure you become successful members and active participants in the global community. Study Abroad is seen as an integral component of an NSU education, and all students are encouraged to participate.

How to Get Started

Follow these three steps to begin your journey.

Step 1: Attend a Study Abroad 101 Session

Before choosing a destination, you need to know the basics. Join us for a quick info session to learn about program types, how to research options, deadlines, etc.

If you are unable to attend a session or would like to meet a different time, please email studyabroad@nsuok.edu to request an appointment.

Step 2: Explore Your Options

Whether you want a 1-2 week faculty-led experience or a full-semester immersion, NSU has study abroad program options for you.

Step 3: How much will it cost?

Explore each program option and review the "Cost & Funding" tabs. Be sure to talk with NSU Financial Aid and the NSU Scholarship Office to determine if your aid can apply toward your study abroad program. Students can also apply for the Office of International Programs Study Abroad Grant specifically for students participating in study abroad.

Ready to Learn More?

If you have already attended an information session and are ready to learn more about specific programs, schedule a one-on-one meeting with the Study Abroad & Exchange Coordinator.
